Attendflix is a project focused on a new way of learning. The idea is to stimulate and engage students with their subjects, academic skills and learning duties.
Some months ago, two teachers worried about the approach of their students to the different disciplines they taught (English and History), decided to try something different.
Attendflix has 4 big tasks to be accomplished:
1. To record a video (episode) about the topic suggested.
2. To design a poster to advertise your episode.
3. To write 2 letters (Formal and informal)
4. To develop a journal – diary of all your activities.
And, last but not least, all the topics (seasons) should be related with a formative aspect: tolerance, cooperation, generosity, team working, self-restraint…
